“I had breast cancer.A? After a radical mastectomy and fourA?months of chemotherapy, I felt terrible and I was depressed.A? The medical profession had killed off the cancer cells but also the many healthy cells that grew with them.A? I was nauseated and weakened from the treatments.A? A friend took me to Whole Foods.A? She bought me my first wheatgrass shot.A? I can’t say initially the wheatgrass tasted good to me but oh how my body loved it.A? Within minutes, I began to feel my body respond to this healing “elixir”.A? I decided to take a wheatgrass shot everyday for the next three months.A? I did have the experience of overloading on the wheatgrass one day.A? I experienced feeling nauseated as I realized that I was detoxing too fast.A? It is now ten years since my mastectomy and chemotherapy and am delighted to share with you that I have not had a cancer recurrence.A? Along with the wheatgrass, I also changed my lifestyle to reflect my desire to live.A? In a support group, I found myself saying,” I want to live instead of I don’t want to die”.A? This was the turning point in my healing journey.A? I know for me that facing the possibility of my own death was the impetus I needed to make the radical decisions that up to that point I felt I could not make.”

Wheatgrass juice restores vitality.A? The juice of Wheatgrass is abundant with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, chlorophyll and vital life energy.A? The juice is intensely concentrated so with as little as one ounce a day one experiences incredible benefits.A? Wheatgrass contains 70% chlorophyll.A? The juice arrests growth and development of unfriendly bacteria and helps to destroy free radicals.A? Amazingly chlorophyll has a nearly identical chemical structure to red blood cells which are critical in carrying oxygen to the blood system.

For optimum benefits, drink the freshly juiced grass immediately.A? Do not use after an hour of juicing, juice loses it’s medicinal effect.

For health maintenance 1 to 4 oz daily, it’s better to start slowly in the beginning if you are new to this.

For therapeutic detox dosage 4-8 oz daily, also you might want to learn about wheatgrass enema and implant.A? We will post it in the future right here.

(Since wheatgrass is a powerful detoxifier of both the liver and large intestine, it is important to gradually increase from one ounce a day to eight ounces taken throughout the day.A? If wheatgrass is consumed too quickly, toxins can be released too quickly.)

Wheatgrass is available in powdered and tablet form but fresh squeezed juice is considered best.A? Health food stores sell wheatgrass but please know you can learn to grow and juice your own wheatgrass.

  • Mix 2 barrels of organic soil 50/50 with organic compost.A? You can also use topsoil mixed 50/50 with peat moss or organic compost.
  • Wash wheatberries and let them soak in water for 12 hours in the jars.A? Drain the water from the jar, leaving the moist wheatberries inside.A? Allow them to sprout for 12 hours.
  • Spread soil 1 inch deep on trays, leaving shallow trenches around the edges to catch excess water.A? Smooth the soil and spread the sprouted wheatberries on top.

Do not allow wheatgrass to grow taller than 10 inches as it will begin to yellow.A? Use wheatgrass as soon after harvesting as possible.A? If necessary, cut wheatgrass can be stored for up to 7 days in a covered container or plastic bag in the refrigerator.

You will also need a Wheatgrass Juicer in order to juice your wheatgrass.A? It is a slow-turning juicer made especially for juicing wheatgrass. A?A?A regular juicer will not properly extract all of the juice from the wheatgrass.
