The Sedona Detox Center uses an hA2cg-based evolution weight management program for weight loss.
HCG is a glycoprotein made up of 244 amino acids in two chains naturally produced in the body. But only two small subgroups of amino acids actively contribute to effectiveness in weight loss.
This hormone allows the body to mobilize fat and use it as energy for both the mother and the fetus. This acts as a “fail-safe” mechanism when energy is needed for the baby. In weight loss, only a very small amount of HCG is used to capitalize on this same mechanism.
Using HCG in this way does not mimic pregnancy; in fact, it can be safely used by both men and women.
We offer two hA2cg-based Evolution Weight-Management diet programs. One allows for 500 calories a day and the other is 1,000 calories a day.

500 calorie a day diet: Anyone who wishes to lose weight can benefit from an hA2cg-based Evolution weigh management program, but Dr. Simeon’s research was geared primarily toward the obese-those with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or greater. We found that dieters who wish to lose 15 or more pounds will find great success with this program.

1,000 calorie a day diet: The traditional HCG diet is not for everyone. It is geared toward major weight loss, and its restrictions on both caloric intake and activity level make it a poor fit for those who are active and healthy, but simply can’t get rid of the last few pounds of fat.
